  5. Good article on the importance of password managers.

One thing that isn’t covered and an important factor to consider is that memorizable passwords are no longer safe. Hackers can now crack almost any password you can easily memorize.

This makes the choice that much easier to make about switching to a password manager.

  6. Hi Jane,

Thanks for the useful information. I have been using different usernames and passwords, and its usual that I forget to remember one many times and then I need to follow that long procedure to recover my password, its very hectic. For this reason I have my personal diary with all login details in, which kind of silly. Thanks for sharing this info.

  7. Surprised to not see RoboForm listed here, they were the first on the market and are still the most widely used. They are also the only password manager to offer live phone support, available 12 hours a day from right here in my home state of VA! I have been using RoboForm for years and now access it on all of my various computers, external drives, tablet and smart phone for one fee with the new RoboForm Everywhere license. I highly recommend RoboForm.

  8. I also seconded the views of other two commentators. In my opinion, Roboform has been the pioneer in the field of Password Management and despite its company’s strange pricing policy 2 years back, it is still the best Password Manager in town. You must post about in your coming posts.
