They all look very nice. Nice designs, nice specs (apart from the speed of 5400 RPM) and mostly, they all have shock resistance, witch is very important to a portable hard drive.

It seems like the designs of these external HDDs are looking to follow the trends of other popular gadgets, towards smaller, sleeker, cooler and like you said funky designs. These are definitely cool looking portable hdds and will surely kick away those plain boring designs on the hdds that we used to have.

    Jane,

Great list of portable hard drives.

I am currently using SeaGate which isn’t listed, but like usual, there is pros and cons with this device.

I haven’t found the best one yet, I guess, there isn’t such a best hard drive.

    John.

All of these hard drives look great, but my favorite is the Adata SH14. They user have come a long way in looks than in the earlier days of external hard drives.
